I’ve been in UMICS for four years, and on the executive for two. It was a wonderful opportunity to engage in my Metis culture, learn about First Nations and Inuit culture, and join a thriving community while gaining experience that will be valuable in my future career as an accountant. My favorite part about joining UMICS is the friends I’ve gain that I know will last a lifetime.
— Kieran Saindon, Past President '17-'18
